We are an environmentally conscious company and as such we acknowledge the potential environmental impact that our operations may have on the environment. Munnelly Group Ltd is revered as the market leader for logistics and waste management services, delivering on the most demanding construction projects within the UK. We are committed to protecting the local and global environment and to minimise our environmental impact we shall:
- Comply with applicable legal requirements and other requirements to which the company subscribes which relate to its environmental aspects.
- Include the consideration of environmental issues in all business strategies and initiatives and commit to protect the environment including prevention of pollution and waste mismanagement.
- Ensure protection of the environment is firmly embedded in both the company’s and all employees’ culture.
- Minimise waste to landfill by reducing our waste generation and by segregating and recycling waste where we have responsibility.
- Coordinate business transport to reduce consumption.
- Use energy, water, materials and other natural resources as efficiently as possible, giving particular regard to the long-term sustainability of consumable items.
- Consider the wider global impact of all our activities including those of our suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
- Educate, train and motivate employees to carry out tasks in an environmentally responsible manner and ensure that a continuous professional development strategy remains core to our business goals.
- Encourage environmental protection among suppliers and subcontractors.
- Commit to continually improve our environmental management system to enhance environmental performance.
- Develop and implement the groups carbon reduction plan This policy is written in accordance with the company’s certification to ISO14001:2015.
Munnelly Group Ltd is committed to continual improvement of our environmental performance in line with ISO14001:2015 requirements.
The policy will be continually monitored and updated, at least every twelve months, and communicated to all staff, contractors, and suppliers.
