Celebrating the spooky season: Our Halloween charity event

Oct 31, 2025 | Community

As October draws to a close, Munnelly Group came together once again to celebrate the season in true team spirit – with creativity, laughter, and a shared purpose that extended well beyond the workplace.

Our annual Halloween Charity Event was more than just a day of costumes and cake. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues across the business to connect, have fun, and raise funds for a cause close to our hearts – supporting the purchase of a new early detection breast cancer scanner for Mount Vernon Hospital.

A celebration of connection and collaboration

The event brought together employees from across Munnelly Group, creating a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships, build new connections, and celebrate the values that unite us.

By taking time to come together, we reinforce what makes our organisation so special – a culture built on collaboration, positivity, and teamwork. The day featured a full line-up of activities, from a lively Bake Off Showdown to a Fancy Dress Finale and an exciting Halloween Quiz, each filled with creativity, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter.

Leadership with a sense of fun

A particular highlight of the day came from our CEO, Paul David Munnelly, who fully embraced the Halloween spirit by arriving dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. His enthusiasm and humour set the tone for the day, reflecting the approachable, people-first culture that defines Munnelly Group.

Moments like this remind us that leadership isn’t only about strategy and vision – it’s also about connecting with people, inspiring participation, and creating a workplace where everyone feels included and valued.

Teamwork in action

From the Bake-Off creations to the quiz and fancy-dress competition, the event was filled with laughter, creativity, and a strong sense of togetherness. It was inspiring to see colleagues supporting one another, celebrating achievements, and taking the opportunity to connect with people they might not normally work alongside.

Even those working remotely joined the celebrations, ensuring that the Halloween spirit was shared across every part of the Group. The sense of belonging and engagement across teams was truly fantastic to see.

Making a difference together

Behind all the fun was an important purpose. Through the generosity and enthusiasm of our people, we successfully raised £200 to help fund a new early detection breast cancer scanner at Mount Vernon Hospital.

This achievement reflects not only our commitment to supporting local communities, but also our belief that when we work together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Looking ahead

As we approach the end of the year, events like our Halloween Charity Day highlight what truly makes Munnelly Group special – our people, our teamwork, and our shared commitment to making a positive impact.

We are proud of the connections we continue to build and thankful to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the event so memorable.

To everyone who baked, dressed up, quizzed, donated, or simply cheered from afar – thank you. Your enthusiasm and generosity embody what it means to be part of Munnelly Group.
